Basic Requirements for Teachers

Education:
A successful applicant must have at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.　William Language School prefers teachers who have taken a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), or a TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) certification course or completed a Master's Degree program.

Previous Work Experience:
All William Language School teachers have to have at least 3 years of classroom teaching experience in classes of at least 10 students.

Personality:
William Language School is looking for teachers who are outgoing, interested in education, confident and self-assured, and who are honest and forthright.　We hire people who can communicate effectively with strong and clear voice.　A clean and neat appearance is also a must.　Finally, we are looking for someone who demonstrates flexibility of living in Taiwan's special environment and culture.

Length of Commitment:
William Language School requires an initial two-year commitment from all applicants.
